COMMUNITY
At the heart of our business is the community. Not just our furry customers wagging their tails, but it's the waves, the smiles and the laughter from everyone in the community on seeing our bus rolling through the town, with excited and happy dogs staring out the windows. It's important to us that we try to make as many people smile as we possibly can. 🐾
We will be involved with lots of community initiatives, working with local dog charities and shelters to raise money and we offer free transportation for shelter dogs to their adoption events.
Every month we will offer 4 free bus rides for rescue dogs and families in need. We appreciate times are hard now and people are making cutbacks due to financial or physical setbacks. We want Billy's Bus to be accessible to every dog, so email laura@billysbus.co.uk and nominate a dog today and give them the adventure of a lifetime. 🐾
The Team
We have a network of over 25 drivers and dog field staff, for just one bus, why? Well, we decided that we wanted to work with lots of different people, from lots of different walks of life, but all with one thing in common – a love of dogs.
We have retired HGV drivers, a dentist, RAF pilot, a double decker bus driver, dog agility trainer, a retired CEO of an American tech company, an artist and an ex-police officer to name a few! All working flexible hours to fit in with their lifestyles and to keep in the workforce.
Community Care
We offer a free service to old people's homes, nursing homes, schools and children's nurseries. We will bring the dog bus along for your residents or your little ones at school, to enjoy the pure magic of the dog bus, stop and wave at our dogs and we will stop to say hello.
We know how much this bus makes people smile, brings a little magic to their day and we don't want to keep all of that to ourselves. We just ask for you to make a little donation of your choice directly to a dog charity so we can spread the love and give something back to the doggy community who are still waiting to find their forever home.
